What ever you do for a living, we can probably find coverage for you. Even if you are a new venture. Get coverage for your almost any type of contracting vehicle plus any permanently attached equipment.

Many contractors now subcontract with Lowes, Home Depot, Sears and others. These companies require that they be listed on the Auto Insurance policy as an additional insured. We have found markets that no problem with this. In some cases the premium on the Business Auto Insurance Policy is less than on a personal auto.

We have many sources for may specialized coverages and higher liability limits that help our customer contractors win more business and contracts.

It makes good sense to buy a Business Auto Insurance Policy if you are using the vehicle for your contracting business. Here are a few reasons:

  • Use: Most personal auto policies exclude from coverage the use of a vehicle primarily for commercial purposes. In the event of a claim or loss you do not want to have the discussion with your insurer what the 'real' use of the vehicle is.

  • Additional Insured: When you sign a contract as a sub-contractor many times there will be a clause that states you need to list someone as an Additional Insured. Chances are your Personal Auto Insurance carrier will not allow this endorsement on your policy. Therefore you will need a Commercial Auto Insurance Policy.

  • Other Peoples Property: Many time contractors have items that are already purchased and therefore owned by the contractor's customer. Or the contractor is a contract installer and the items carried in the contractor's vehicle are the property of the store or are rented tools. You may wish to add coverage for this by endorsement to your Business Auto Insurance or your Contractors Insurance policy.

  • Non-Owned Autos: Coverage may be extended by endorsement when your employees drive their own vehicles for your business purpose.

  • Hired Auto: Provides liability protection when you are driving a vehicle that you do not own, for business purposes, for a limited time.

  • Any Auto Coverage: When selected this covers any auto used in your business contact us for the special rules that apply to this great coverage.

  • Roadside Assistance: This coverage may be selected and used when you may have a break down while on the road.

  • Rental Reimbursement: This optional coverage may help you get a temporary replacement when your auto is disabled due to a covered cause of loss.
