MHP owners have many liability entanglements. Some of your tenants have their own manufactured homes while others rent homes that you own. In some cases someone else owns the home that is on your land and that tenant is renting from you and the owner of the residence. We strongly encourage you to have every owner of a home that is not also the resident of the home to list you as an additional insured on their policy in order to protect you from liability losses that could be caused by their rented manufactured home. Your tenants activities can also expose your to loss, so we strongly encourage you to require in your residential leases that the tenant must have manufactured homeowners or renters insurance.
