Do you think you pay too much for tenant occupied property insurance?

Answer:
As with most things the prices vary very much. The least expensive Landlord Policies that we have seen where about $300 a year. This was not very much coverage on the residence, only about $40,000 with very limited causes of loss and low liability coverage. Yet another policy reviewed had $125,000 for the building coverage and the amount of the annual premium was under $500 annually. We feel that the coverage in both cases is too low to adequately protect the average insured. What is important is for you to match the coverage you need and want to a price that makes good business sense.
