2 Family Homes - Most of the time if you are living in a 2 family house and renting the other apartment a Homeowners insurance policy would be appropriate. Please contact us today at 607-843-8860 or insurance@drickardinsurance.com and take a look at our Homeowners insurance information page.
3 and 4 Family Homes - Usually insurers will require that you insure these on a Landlord policy and then, to protect your Comprehensive Personal Liability and your personal possessions (personal property) a renters policy will be required. However, we have found a solution that will allow you to buy one Homeowners insurance policy rather than two policies. Since you are buying only the one policy and Homeowners policies tend to be less expensive than Landlords insurance we can probably help you to save money. Please contact us today at 607-843-8860 or insurance@drickardinsurance.com and take a look at our Homeowners insurance information page.
