to me. Is it a one to four
family house built for residential purposes originally? Yes – Great,
you need homeowner’s insurance so follow this path.
Keep in mind though most insurers will not let you insurer your
home and your contents in one policy if your home is a 3 or 4 family
residence. They require you
to buy a renter’s policy for your contents and personal liability and
buy a landlord or dwelling fire insurance policy to cover the building.
However, you are in great hands with DRickard Insurance because
we have homeowner policy solutions for persons living in residential
buildings designed for up to 4 residences, saving you money and
simplifying your life because you do not need to by multiple policies.

need. The first is a
renter’s insurance policy to protect your personal possessions and
liability and a second policy to cover the building(s) and the liability
associated with your apartments business. No – I own and live in a building that has both residential and commercial space.
